House Update!

Ok, as for the house update! I have just finished the final coat of finish on the hardwood floors. I think I will just let the pictures speak for themselves! It was a lot of work but very rewarding !

Happy Birthday Nate!!! 2 Years old!

Ok, so we are into March, Happy Birthday Nate!!! 2 years old! such a big boy! Pictures will follow from tommorows party!!
I also have just read that I should be updating my blog more often, thanks for the reminders, I need them Courtney!
Kari and I had a date night last week and we went to see the U2-3D! it was the coolest thing I have ever seen in a movie theater!! If you have not gone yet, and you like U2, Please see this concert. Its the first live action movie shot in the new high res HD 3d camera, this in not your old school 3d! check it out!

We also took Nate and Will to the skating rink for the first time this winter. We might be the best Hockey State in the nation, but I do not think my son will be playing a lot of hockey. He actually suprised us and did very well, but after about 15 minutes and enough falls on his butt, and wrists and elbows he was ready to quit. Meanwhile Naters was playing boot hockey content not to be on skates.

Flashback to 1 Year ago.

Hard to believe how much the boys have changed in 1 years time! Nate was just about to turn 1 and will was still in pre-school.

Jake suprised Josh with a trip to Lake Tahoe and Napa Valley to see Jill & Jon. It was a present to Josh before the wedding. Good Times!

I hope you had a great Valentines Day! We spent ours at Convention Grill! Yum, the boys love the chocolete malts.

Kari and Jill Celebrated another birthday, so that was fun! Kari and I went to see U2-3D, we both agreed it was the coolest thing we had seen in a theater!

anyway, I have to get back to work, remember!! Kari only gave me 2 weeks to get that master bedroom remodel done!

New Year, Late Start

Ok, so its the new year and i am a little behind in my blog. So let me fill you in on the details since January. We have been enjoying the snow and William has gotten a lot of use out of his snowboard that Grandma got him for christmas. Will also got to boggie board at the Water Park of America, he loved it!!

Nate is picking up new words left and right, and new behaviors as well. He does not like to get out of the tub and lets me know it everytime! William is back in swim lessons and spending most of his time there underwater! Kari and I have taken a short break from the home remodeling, we finished redecorating Williams room, (which features his own bouldering wall! and the hallway is complete for now, but are ready to get back into phase II of the construction, (our bedroom!) yeah, Jake is so excited to gut the notty pine walls and popcorn ceilings! Well keep you posted from the guest bedroom, Kari has informed me that I have just 2 weeks to get it finished so she isnt disrupted for too long, I simply laughed.

We have been stimulating the economy latley and bought a "newer" mini-van, yep these are exciting times!! "we might hit bed bath and beyond too, but I dont know if well have enough time!! " Our old minivan finally died with 183,000 miles on it, I was sure to put enough oil in the engine to get it to the dealer for the trade! :) litterally! Well, thats about it for now. Hope all is well and you are having a great year.

Oh yeah, I almost forgot, Charlie Celebraited his 1 year birthday as well! Jan 17th, look how big he got!

Will and Jake carved their pumpkins the night before Halloween. Will picked out his design and even carved it himself. Dad on the other hand had some troubles. His pumpkin had some sort of impenatrible shield on it, even the large butcher knife was not going to break the titanium coating, but the Dewalt 18 volt XRP hammer/driver drill did!! and the combination jig saw made short work of the pumpkin carving! as Tim Allen would say ahahhohohoho. Binford! : )

Halloween 2007

So Halloween was a great time. William choose to be a Star Wars character named Bobafet. On the night of Halloween we couldn't find the mask for the costume but surprisingly Will was OK with it, but he did throw a fit because he wanted to ride his bike, so in the picture will looks like evil con evil or a motor cross rider! Nate was supposed to be a gorilla but we couldn't find that costume either! :) maybe we should have taken the night to clean our house! hahah We did find a costume in Will's closet that fit Nate, so he went as a crocodile! it was so cute. he tried so hard to keep up with his brother, and always made a oooooohhhh sound when they gave him a piece of candy, the only problem is that little chubbers always wants to eat the candy, in fact I was solicited this morning while in the shower.

Over MEA weekend the whole family traveled to Jill & Jons house were we were put to work, Jake and Jon tiled there entire kitchen and dining room floor, Jake swan through insulation in the attic to fish wires in the attic rather than on the ground, oh, and we went to Sonoma! The boys were great and so was the wine! We also watched Jill at her syncro practice and the boys went swimming. I can say that Nate is not afraid of the water, and throws himself into the water regardless if your going to catch him or not! We took a walk/bike ride to the park and upon arrival Jill took Will's helmet off only to find a black widow spider fall to the ground, thank god it didn't bite him! It was a fun (labor some) weekend!
