So Kari's mom finally decided to retire from teaching at the Jr High were she had been for the last 21 years. We all think about the day we get to retire but when it comes its an emotional time. Karen was surrounded by co-works, family and Friends to celebrate a wonderful time in her life. The party went off without any hitches, both Kari and I took the day off work to run around and get everything just right for the party. Jill intended to help but her D%@# plane broke in Arizona forcing the cancellation of her flight and missing pretty much the whole day, she made the last hour of the party so she did make it! but is rather miffed at the airline industry, rightfully so! Kari and I made a slide show for her mom and watched it at the party, here are just a few gems from all the pictures we scanned in!

Oh wow, Mom’s Retirement Party looks outstanding. I had a brilliant time watching these photos. Anyways, my mom’s birthday is coming and she would be retiring on same day so there will be double celebrations. We are going to book one of the event venues Chicago for the grand party. Can’t wait for it.
